Wedding day preparations are always an exhilarating experience, but the number of choices for the décor, gifts, and so on also makes it a somewhat frantic one. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. The initial decision was just the overall genre of the wedding: something old-fashioned, or a trendier style of ceremony. We looked through all the themed wedding possibilities and she just couldn’t decide. Some of the options she kicked around were doing a gardening theme or a sand and surf theme. Ultimately, our new bride opted to go with a pretty conventional wedding. When she eventually made that decision, it allowed us to get the preparations underway.
The church was reserved, and so was the reception hall, and all of the invitations had been sent out. The wardrobe for both the bride and the wedding party had been picked out already, so we were able to zero in on things that we’d need in order to put on the reception. We had to pick out a wedding guest book and a photo album and a few other items that we’d need. There was no shortage of wedding guest books to pick from, and the decorations on a big percentage of them were absolutely beautiful. There were many gorgeous wedding pens to choose from too, that matched with many of the guestbooks. We still had a few items to find when my daughter ran across a six piece wedding set that had a solid white satin cover with satin bows and rhinestones. There was a lovely unity candle, ring pillow, flower basket and wedding garter. This spendidsatin set also included a guest book for wedding that also matched perfectly. It was astonishing to us to see that many charming accessories and supplies for so low a cost. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. It really was a beautiful photo album.
The last things to take care of was place card holders, a wedding cake topper, and gifts for the guests. All of the rest of it had been dealt with. Our blushing bride picked out a pair of glazed porcelain doves to use as her cake topper. That wedding cake topper will make a lovely keepsake. Every guest got a place card holder at the reception that was silver and in the shape of a picture frame. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The look and experience of our wedding day was a smashing success with our guests. Their first dance together made us all realize what a handsome couple this really was. I think my feet are still sore from tearing up the dance floor, but I’ll never foget what a magical night that was, and it was worth every second. My little girl was now a wife and would someday be a mother, maybe with a daughter of her own. When we have her baby shower, I will go right back to the same place to find baby shower favors and supplies. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. My head was swirling from all of the options out there for thank you presents, and I had to just go work on some other part of the wedding to get my focus back. I had put it off while I took care of buying the rest of the supplies we’d need, but it was time at last to select a gift for the women standing up in my wedding. They each got a beautiful boxes for jewelry, and inside of it was some unique wedding jewelry. What I found for them was a shimmering rhinestone bracelet. It was just perfect for them even though it probably sounds like a bit much. The volume of options in discount wedding jewelry was so great, and so good, that I got them some of that and saved a little cash in the process. I also got a some pearl wedding jewelry for myself, and wore it in my wedding ceremony. There are some really exquisite pieces to choose from, and less costly than you may imagine. The groomsmen were pleased with what my hubby got them, and the bridesmaids were thrilled with theirs.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. Two single people drew some attention: my husband’s brother snatched the garter out of the air, and my sister won the bouquet toss. Is it just coincidence, or is it fate? Who knows, maybe one day they will be in our spot and my sister would then be my sister in law as well, that’s really weird. Only time will tell.

For our thank you gifts to our guests, we decided on candle wedding favors, because they’re not only beautiful, but they are practical too. I bought hang tags that I found to be very special to go with the colorful favor boxes for everyones gift.
I also bought lovely wedding candle centerpieces, just to add to the décor of all my reception tables. They really looked nice with all the other decorations and the lovely centerpieces I got from the florist. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. You could get fantastic new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. The season that was amazing was the winter season because of all the Christmas colors and decorations you can add to your reception. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? To me having a wedding in the winter outside would be a beautiful site to see and yet a little way out of the norm. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. She ordered all the decorations in a western style decor. They’re really quite unique looking. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. So, I’ve decided to get on the band wagon and go shopping for a pair of cowboy boots, hat and blue jeans and get ready to celebrate this wedding the country way. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.
