I love attending a theme wedding. They can really be a blast. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was all done in a country western motif.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated with satin ribbon and bows, flowers and candles. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They were a picure perfect couple. When the ceremony ended the happy couple left for the reception in a horse drawn buggy.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell at one glance how hard she worked at setting this reception in motion. It was absolutely perfect. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. From the country décor to the theme wedding favors, everything was perfection. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. They had things for the children to do so they could have as good a time as the grown ups. My husband and I did a little dancing while some played horse shoes or gave apple bobbing a try. It was great fun for everyone.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect novelty topper. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. There were also adorable little cowboy hats were the place card holders for every guest. That was such a unique idea.
The food they chose for the reception was unbelievable. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. The country western theme was a blast.
A beach themed reception is another great party to go to. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous summer dresses and the groomsmen wore drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. The whole ceremony was absolute perfection, just like dream.
Not only was the ceremony fantastic, but the reception was exceptional too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. Each and every guest had adorable little seashell place card holders, and champagne glasses with beach themed decorations on the stems.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding invitations she had put together. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009I love attending a theme wedding. They can be so much fun. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. It was all done in a country western motif.
They chose a small country church to hold the wedding ceremony. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The tuxes with the white boutonnieres in the lapels made the groomsmen and the little ring boy looked quite handsome. But all eyes were focused on the elegant bride and groom. They were such a lovely couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
She did a fantastic job arranging her reception. It was spectacular. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. From the country décor to the themed wedding favors, everything was perfection. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. They had things for the children to do so they could have as good a time as the grown ups. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. The country western theme was a blast.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. There is nothing more beautiful than a beach wedding ceremony. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
It was such a relaxed ceremony, with all wedding party and beautiful summer dresses and beach wear. She made a lovely bride in her ocean blue flowing crepe dress, and he was such a handsome groom in his white linen beach outfit. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.

Choosing a summer favor!
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.
I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.
In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. There are some spectacular summer wedding themes, but the sun can turn your beautiful wedding cake into a gooey pool of confection.
I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding theme. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.
While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.
Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. If we celebrate one of our anniversaries with a wedding renewal, I want to have it in a gorgeous park again.
Finding Great Albums For Wedding for a Wedding!
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. There were so many options for beach wedding dresses and gowns, that it was a tough decision to make. I was unsure about the two full length wedding gowns I found, I didn’t want to be uncomfortable at my beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. All the groomsmen wore linen white shirts and sand colored pants and my husband, to be looked so handsome in his blue linen shirt and white pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.
With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two wedding albums. I expect photos of every person here and everything at our wedding including our reception and the beautiful beach décor. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Everyone thought our reception tables were so beautiful with all the beach themed wedding accessories I had found for them. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. The guests seemed to like them, and I thought they were just adorable. The beach wedding favors I chose for our guests made the perfect little thank you gifts. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. I found quite a bit of accessories and decorations for our beach themed reception tables and the bride and groom table as well. I not only bought our beach themed wedding cake topper there, but also the cake knife server set, beautiful crystal champagne glasses and lovely wine glasses too.
Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. Everything was like a dream come true, with the beautiful ocean waves and the warm summer sands as our wedding chapel and reception location.
Now I can look through our special beach leather wedding album and enjoy that day once again.

I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? I thought to myself having a winter wedding outside would be gorgeous in one sense, and a little weird in the other, not to mention how cold it would be. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.
There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Now there are so many different types of weddings you can really have your ceremony exactly the way you want to. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. There are also a great new wedding favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.
In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. She has everything all planned out to be more of a huge family cookout, hayride, picnic type of reception. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

This would of helped in my planning if I would have known about all ideas on the computer. They have a lot of themed weddings that can be planned and so many awesome accessories to make a wedding a success. If I had use of the unique wedding idea selection, I know I would go for the storybook wedding. I looked at all the fantastic accessories and reception supplies they have for a fairy tale motif and it is simply unbelievable. There are gorgeous bridal veils, both short and long to choose from with pretty little rhinestones along the border, or my favorite, the floral veil with embroidery around the edges. There are some beautiful tiaras too that would go great with the veil I like so much. That’s probably the one I would have chosen for my fairytale wedding.
If you could ony see the beautiful little flower baskets and ring pillows there are. You can get a set of accessories that fit your wedding needs. I found one that was perfect for my storybook wedding with baskets, pillows with lots of satin and lace that match my wedding and even had albums, guestbooks and unity candles that went with my theme. Planning the wedding of your dreams would be no problem at all, because of all the things they have out there. There are many unique wedding favors for all of your family and friends to say thank you. If I were to pick one it would have been the carriage candle and I would have picked one for me also, because they are so adorable looking. They have storybook placecard holders that look like castles and fashionable picture frame placecard holders also. I even saw some different wedding ideas for a lot of themed weddings. The winter wonderland wedding is a wonderful theme to choose too. You can get snowball placecard holders, and unique wedding gift ideas of snowman tea lights and awesome winter votive candles in a awesome icy blue colors and design. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. I saw gorgeous new wedding collections for all seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. You would be surprised how many people have weddings in the winter and have it outside. I thought to myself having a winter wedding outside would be gorgeous in one sense, and a little weird in the other, not to mention how cold it would be. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. Since we had the beauty of nature all around us, it wasn’t too expensive to decorate. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.
Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Like, making sure there were citronella candles all around, rest rooms close by and making sure our cake was kept cool until ready to be cut.

Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding theme. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. I’d love to do this again and have a wedding renewal in the park, maybe for an anniversary, someday.
AMAZING Birthday Party Invitations
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. At the top of the list was getting a birthday party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. That was the right thing to do. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. The site also had standard party invitations, engagement party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. One style of place card holders caught my fancy. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift.
